+Nat Sherman
Hi all, Is there a way to find Wherigo Caches using only CacheSense on my Blackberry? (my regular GPS is not paperless) Thanks, Nat Sherman Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
No. You need a Wherigo player. Certain models of Garmin GPSr can play them. There is a player for windows PDAs. There is a player for ANDROID phones. There may be a player for iPhone, I don't know. You may be able to fake it and get the final co-ordinates using the emulator on your computer, but where's the fun in that? Quote Link to comment

+hzoi
I've used WhereYouGo with some success -- it's much more user friendly than the Wherigo player on our Garmin Oregon 400t, which tends to crash if the Wherigo takes up too much memory (and unfortunately it doesn't take much). I don't think WhereYouGo correctly creates the save file needed to unlock a cartridge on the Wherigo.com website, that's the only drawback I've had with it so far. Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
Oh, yeah, and WhereYouGo is a free Android app. Quote Link to comment
+thebruce0
The official iPhone app is..wait for it.. Wherigo =P Yes it's official, and free, and it is the only iOS app that does Wherigo. It's not 100% compatible with every cartridge, but afaik has the best compatibility of the smartphone apps. Could be wrong tho. Edited May 9, 2012 by thebruce0 Quote Link to comment

(my regular GPS is not paperless) Thanks, Nat Sherman Give OpenWIG a try on the BB. I have used it to sucsessfully find the only WIG in our area but it was a little buggy then hopefully better now. http://code.google.com/p/openwig/ Quote Link to comment
