Dog trackable

Hi!

I am a newbie, so sorry if I am not familiar with everything. I saw on Geocache.com a "dog trackable" travel bug. How do you use it? It says in the product description that it is durable enough to attach to you dogs collar so your dog can be tracked. How does that work? I get the basics of a trackable, but not sure how it works with a dog. I think it is pretty cool, unless I have to set my dog free for another person to take- haha, obviously I wouldn't do that!! My doggie Coco has a TB on her collar. I visit her bug in all caches where she was with me. People could also discover her if the meet her.

I just realized we have the same dog! My pup is Huckleberry a chocolate lab that loves hiking, walking and now geocaching! Oh, and of course a serious addiction to swimming and water in general!

Oh yeah, we can't keep her out of the water! She's even found a few geocaches by herself!

 

Im not happy with the bug I picked for Coco's collar, but the one I released for her is cool, and the logo is a chocolate lab!

Cool! I want to get one for my choc lab. These would great for the camper, so if we let him off leash he's easy to spot if he starts straying from the camp site.
