+rossinator
Hi, some friends asked me to record their car decal travel bugs...can't seem to figure this out. I just put on on my truck, and the log page seems to be looking for a geocach to pick up/place it in. Don't these trackable items like car decals, shirts, and geobags allow to enter GPS coordinates of the find? Quote Link to comment

Here's some info on logging TBs: http://www.geocaching.com/track/howto.aspx The "Discover" log is what you should do (in step 3). Quote Link to comment

You (the TB owner) can "visit" the truck TB in most any cache, which you may use to track miles. Other people will log "discover", and can mention where they saw the truck. Unless they make a waypoint or take a geo-tagged photo, there's no way to know what the coordinates were, but that could be entered into the log manually, if you saved the coords.
