Jeremy
I believe the memory on the new machine is bad. There are some things you can't plan for. I'll continue to monitor the site and try to get a fix going so it won't go down. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Link to comment
Curious George
Thanks Jeremy - was just able to log in now at 9:50. I think the server may just be too busy with all the changes going on I love the smell of Lock 'n Locks in the morning...they smell like $$$ Link to comment
+smithdw
I was getting many out of memory errors. Definitely looks like a problem with the server memory. "The best way to accelerate a Macintosh is at 9.8m/sec/sec." -Marcus Dolengo Link to comment
Jeremy
No. It should be blazing fast and be able to use up to 2.6 gigs of memory. When it gets to 1 gig it shows an error. I think one of our memory cards are bad on the new machine. I'm setting the service on a schedule to restart every 2 hours regardless of where I am. I hope that will alleviate the issues since it is a slow crawl to 1 gig of cached information. I'll also monitor it throughout the weekend.
