tasuki201
Hi all So me and a couple friends are going to plan a road trip across canada and we were wondering if some people could give us some good geocaches to find, or what your thoughts about this are. Cheers Quote Link to comment

Mr. Wilson & a Mt. Goat
Canada is a very big country, so what is you planned route? Also, if you happen to be in BC at the start of July, come to Island Spirit 2012 (a MEGA event). Quote Link to comment
tasuki201
We'll be taking the trans Canada highway so highway #1. So start in Victoria then farry to vancouver then on to kamloops then on to banff, Calgary, then a small Detour to drumheller, then back to Medicine Hat, Moose Jaw, Regina, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Quebec city, Montreal, New Bronswick, then Nova Scotia. Then we are planning to go south to New york. So if there is any good caches you think we should look at in new york that would be good info also. What's your intended route from Thunder Bay to Quebec City? There's a lot of Ontario to be covered. Mr.Yuck
New York is a big State. Just kidding. Being an American from New York, I'll answer that. If you came in from the Maritimes, you'd obviously go through other States before getting to New York. So I assume you'll go South while in Quebec? You mean you're just going to pop in to extreme Northern New York, or do you have a destination? Quote Link to comment
CanadianRockies
In case you're unaware, as a Premium Member you can "create routes" (maximum of 800km each), convert those routes into Pocket Queries, and upload those PQs to your GPSr. You also can examine each PQ list, clicking on the blue ribbons to sort those lists in descending order of favourite points. Between Banff and Calgary are two excellent and unusual caches well worth doing: Cold Cache - bring a flashlight to explore Yam Boulders - on our "Must Do" list for this summer Quote Link to comment

6NoisyHikers
We made a similar trip from Vancouver to New York City five years ago - with four kids in a mini-van! It took us 23 days. It's a good thing we weren't caching then or it would have taken us twice as long Number one piece of advice: Don't stop and do something just because you feel you should. If it causes any level of stress at all, don't bother! There will be lots of wonderful experiences, planned and unplanned. Have a great trip! Oh - and get BCAA coverage. SO important. In Ontario. At the amethyst mines just east of Thunder Bay. Amethyst: Beautiful and sharp. Quote Link to comment
