Easter 2013

Hi All

I was thinking of having an event during easter 2013, 29th - 31 March (most likely on the Friday or Saturday night).

The idea is not to be a mega or anything like that it is just going to be a regular event where we can sit around a bon fire and chat, camp if you wish, and for those who have never been out this way a reason to do so. Oh and to get a smily or two.

Event location would be our home town of Tullamore NSW. There are not many caches around here and all but one in town are ours. There is also not much to see or do around here normaly. If there is any interest it will encourage us to get a few extra caches out and who knows an event may encourage other locals to get out and give it a go.

Reason for having on the easter weekend is this is when Tullamore holds the Irish Festival (10th year in 2013) which will make it for more of an enjoyable and reason to venture out our way.

Only reason for posting this topic is that accomodation here is very limited, Anyone wishing to come and needed accomodation would need to book rather quick unless you are happy to camp or just come and say hi for a while on your way through town.

Tullamore is in central NSW 1hr from Parkes, 1 1/2hrs from Dubbo.

Anyway lets see if there is any interest and if you require information on accomodation head to Tullamore's web site www.tullamoreinc.com.au or you are more then welcome to give us a call.

G'day Garry

I'd post this in the Geocaching Australia forum as that way you will get a local audience. It was just curiosity that saw me scroll down to the international section.

Regards

Paul

The Stanthorpe region has quite a few caches including a power trail - the fruit run.

Perhaps set up a power trail based on country roads & interesting sights along the way & publish it close to the event - All roads lead to Tullamore.
