Kulwinder
Hello friends and admins: How would everyone feel about having some little icons to show what is available and needed to reach a particular cache. For instance if an overnight stay is required then show a little hut, if it is accessible by bicycle then show a bicycle. A picture says a thousand words Kulwinder Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
There is a site that generates the HTML code for people to use for this kind of thing. I'm at work or I'd post the link I have at home. Link to comment

Kulwinder
Thanks for your help. I have added some icons to one of my cache pages, please tell me what you think: Susurumba Mountain Thank you Link to comment
+GrizzlyJohn
here? <A HREF="http://www.txga.net/selector.asp" TARGET=_blank>http://www.txga.net/selector.asp</A> I don't know if that is the same one that RK was thinking of but that is a really cool page. Does anyone know if the Texas GC group has placed any limits on its use? All of the base icon graphic requires a call to their site so was just wondering if they had any issues with who uses it, etc. But that is a great job. Link to comment
+robert
GrizzlyJohn: "Way back when", the TX geocaching society put the link out there for all to use. I don't think they'd have any problems with others using them. It's kind of a service to the geocaching community as a whole. Link to comment
+Brian - Team A.I.
Ok, that is an excellent page. I'll be sure to begin incorporating those into my cache pages immediately. Thanks for the link! Link to comment
+mlnapoli
This is sort of off topic. How does one change the background on their Geocache pages? I posted my first cache yesterday. I have noticed people have police badges, Tolkien themes instead of the green background. Thanks Mike Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
Must be a glitch in the Matrix, you can't change those things Just kidding, Brian knows the answer Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
First make sure the using HTML box is checked otherwise it will be stripped out. Use the following code: <body BACKGROUND="http://your_link_here" BGPROPERTIES="FIXED"> The BGPROPERTIES="FIXED" is optional and will keep the background fixed so that it doesn't scroll... Try it with and without this option and see which you like better. Good Luck! Link to comment
