LisaAS36
What do the rating stars mean? How are they determined? Haven't been able to find any info on them (OK, haven't looked too hard either) Thanks- Lisa Link to comment
Elias
If you look toward the bottom right hand corner of the page, just above the page footer, you'll see a drop-down where you can specify a rating for the topic. Its a way members of the community can rate how useful or helpful a particular topic is. -Elias Link to comment

+Jamie Z
I must add... Nobody uses the feature. We had a discussion a while back, and I think the consensus is that most people don't even pay attention to the ratings. I know I don't. Jamie Link to comment
Rubbertoe
I often use it to taint the feel of thread, for those that DO look at ratings. I have been known to give my own posts 5 stars, because I know people generally won't, or don't know how to, vote against me. *cackle* The Toe Pages Link to comment
