+CacheN'Dash
My girlfriend and I just recently started caching and have been using her phone as our gps. It works fine for LP type caches, but when it comes to hunting one in the woods, the tree cover renders it completely useless. I've read several forums to figure out what unit(s) would be good as an entry-level GPS and narrowed my choices down to either a Magellan Triton 400, 500 or a Garmin eTrex 20. If you have one of these for sale or know someone who does, please let me know as well as what the price of it is. Thanks! Edited April 27, 2012 by Nocturnality Quote Link to comment
+Travler Payne 2006
Any luck on your search? I am looking for one of these units myself. If you have already obtained one, can you tell me how you like it? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Distelvinkje
Hi, I've started GC in Januar. Recently i've bought an e-trex 20. It works perfect. Here some notes: - you can't receive chirps (e-trex 30 can) - you can not doe "Wherigo's" Hope you find the device what fits to you. Grz Diselvinkje Quote Link to comment
