+baloo&bd
Well then, how did you leave this message? My son's computer runs Windows 98. He can't post because it won't let him open the extra little window where you write messages. What do we have configured wrong? Link to comment
+Bill D (wwh)
Just a long shot - does he have a pop-up stopper installed? If so, you probably need to hold down 'Control' or 'Shift' when clicking on the 'Reply' button. Otherwise, is there any setting in the browser that stops new windows? If either of these things is the case, you won't be able to go to image links on cache pages either. Bill Link to comment
+baloo&bd
Doesn't have a pop-up stopper installed and I have clicked everything in Explorer I can find. Link to comment
+Bill D (wwh)
Umm... All I can think of are these, and I can't remember if the first two are available in Win 98: Try right clicking on the link and choose 'Open in new window'. Try right clicking on the link and choose 'Copy shortcut' then paste into the address bar and hit Enter. Tedious, but it should work. Try manually opening a second instance of Internet Explorer, then go back to the first one and click on the link. Bill Link to comment
