foxtrot_xray Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I ask because in the last month, I've seen more than a handful of GEOCAC reports on intersection stations. All in 2009 and later. Before that, not nearly as many that I've found. ..Did something change? Was I sleeping through it? Quote
tosborn Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Not sure I understand what you are saying. But at least a year ago I reported that Deb at NGS said she would prefer to receive no reports on intersection stations...no recoveries and no destroyed reports. Quote
foxtrot_xray Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Okay, apparently I was tired or drunk when I wrote my first post. However, yes, that's what I was asking - if NGS is still not wanting recovery reports on intersection stations. I've seen several reports submitted within the last couple years that made me wonder. AZcachemeister Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) Deb has stated that she would prefer not to get those reports, but that she will process them if they are submitted. EDITED to fix that last , that should have been a . Edited April 29, 2012 by AZcachemeister Quote
kayakbird Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) post deleted - need to run some stats. MEL Took me awhile to get the word as a beginning BM Hunter - 10% of my first month were spires. But I have been sorely tempted to NGS Recover my favorite classical BOGUS GEO LOGGED intersection station/spire which I have observed from multiple miles on three different bearings. +Ernmark Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I notice that a lot of intersection station reports submitted as GEOCAC lately are being submitted by individuales who weren't lurking here (ore even benchmark hunting) back when that info from Deb was posted here.. Quote

Yeah, there's been a rash of them here, too, I first noticed when I originally posted this. I contacted one member on GC.com, never heard anything back. Quote
