+ayrbrain Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I have noticed a TB we put out in Australia has "visited" a number of caches before being placed into another cache so has collected a number of mies, my question is..............I picked up a TB from a cache yesterday and notice it is in a race . Until i find a suitable size cache for the TB can I also let this TB "visit" caches with me and how do i log that it has been "visiting" caches? As i was logging my one and only find yesterday😏. I had a look online at drop down boxes but couldn't see the relevent one to log as a visit, or me being me maybe i didn't look properly😳. Ps i will not keep the TB long as i like to move them as quick as i can. Many thanks for any help. 😊 Quote
+The Blorenges Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 As you say that the TB is in a race, first check the details on its home page - In some TB races visiting is not allowed* and only the mileage between "retrieved" and "dropped off" will count. To make a visit log for any trackable you do your cache log as usual but, before submitting it, go to your trackables inventory box (underneath the log Comments box) where all those currently "in your hands" are listed. By each one there's a drop-down Action box where you can select either Dropped Off or Visited. Make the appropriate selection, then submit the cache log. MrsB * I have a TB in such a race atm. Yesterday someone pointed out to me that a cacher has 'visited' Signore Fi Bonacci to 120+ caches in a series. I really need to delete all those logs but it'll take ages... I don't know if I can be bothered. Quote

+ayrbrain Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 (edited) Many thanks Mrs B. for your help. This TB is just in a race between 2 brothers and their dad has put up a prize for the most travelled. Good luck with your TB race. :-). WOW. I see what you mean with the mileage for your TB.
