Hoblik Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 We wanted to do some horse related geocoin, as we have strong feelings for horses. Celtic goddess Epona was a protector of horses, donkeys, and mules. Here is a draft sketch for the possible geocoin. It would be possible to use it akso as a medallion, by attaching leather string through one of the holes. Hope you like the concept, feedback is welcome before we go for final design and production. +JackHoe Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 The design looks very nice to me. Also the idea behind it. Are you planning to make it in more than one metal finish? I'm certainly intetested. Quote
+Droo Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Beautifully simple design.... especially like the cut throughs. Quote
+TeamEccs21 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 How do you plan to incorporate the cut outs in the other side? Side one is very nice, and if you make this a personal coin I'm definitely interested in one Quote
+Arndtwe Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Wow, that is beautiful. I really like it. Let us know when they're done, I would be very interested. Edited April 22, 2012 by Arndtwe Quote
Hoblik Posted April 23, 2012 Author Posted April 23, 2012 Thanks everybody for encouraging comments. We will probably make three antique metal variants. Reverse side of the geocoin will have mirrored design with tracking information. Quote
+Fianccetto Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Beautiful. I clever design well applied. I hope the cut outs won't mean the price becomes too high for me to afford one/some. Quote
Hoblik Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Here is a quick photo of the sample: We will be making some adjustments - 4,5 mm thickness is too much. I will be posting more photos later, my computer is not working :-( Quote
