It would be interesting to know whether, at this point in the hobby's life cycle, if activity now weighted more heavily towards logging rather than waymark creation. My feeling is that waymark logging is accelerating, while waymark creation may be slowing down. But it's just a feeling. What is the current projection for hitting the half a million mark? I feel like celebrating, so—following the example of our colleague Lumbricus—I have decided to promote our noble calling. As a travelling man I label my bags and gear with name tags and stickers, to make identification quicker and easier. Usually, just my name and country of origin so that if there is ever a question of ownership or possession I can quickly point to my identifying tags, however, I have now decided to add a 'Waymarking' tag to my big bag.
