Hi terry.

vk3 ag

Greetings,

I'm a ham radio operator with callsign N2RUD. If you're a ham please send a reply, and we'll end up with a list of hams using this site. Perhaps the site administrator will give us a separate forum, called "GPS & Ham Radio". If you like that idea, say so!

Please leave your name and callsign.

Anton

This is my first reply in a forum :)

I'm in Indiana.... Have the license but sadly have not used it much ... Too much work (JOB) has made me a dull girl. Would like to get back into the HAM one day. I've just started taking more interest in this geocaching because a friend of mine has been hooked on it and she seems to have a lot of fun with it. I'm looking around this site and becoming more enlightened.

I use a 7 year old Garmin 60Csx. Still works! But I'd like to get one that supports paperless caching.

I have only been a ham for a little over a year. I am General class licensed. My latest radio projects have been experimenting with APRS, and an ISS contact using one of the popular tape measure yagi antennas.

KG5AGP Here in Monroe, LA!!! I have an ICOM IC-735 at the house running off an Alpha-Delta DXCC 5-Band Fan Dipole and a Kenwood TM-V7a on a homebrew J-Pole connected to my Ubuntu computer for use as a Digipeater and iGate for APRS. In the mobile I run a Yaesu FT-8800R. And just for fun I keep a Baofeng UV-5R in my EDC bag.
