Cache Name Changes

Hi all,

 

Recently I changed my name on this US site,, and i am also registered on the .com.au site,, it was easy to change name on here, but when i looked at the au site it still had old name, and when i asked in help about changing user name it redirected me to this site,

 

Is anyone else registered with both sites? If so do you know how to make it change on the AU site?

That site is in no way affiliated at all with Groundspeak or this website. It's a separate geocache listing site. If you want to make any changes to your caches on that site, you'll have to do it over there.

Hi again, just followed those links and that too says contact geocaching.com and submit email to them to change your name,,, So if not affiliated then why do we have to write to the US site????

It isn't very obvious, but their wiki does say this:

Post your request to change your name to the forums with the subject 'Please change my caching name from old_name to new_name'. We'll then change the ownership of your caches, logs, recommendations, planned lists, etc to your new Cacher Name.

The "forums" referenced would be the .com.au forums.
