+petenjo
I left my Oregon 300 that I had for a couple of years in a rental car the other day, and surprisingly it did not show up in the Lost & Found. So now I'm looking for a replacement unit. Paperless caching is a must. I use a Mac that has Windows loaded on it, and live in Northern California. I'm hoping to spend around $300. Any advice would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment

+eusty
Oregon 450. After using the Colorado's rock-n-roller to type field notes you can't imagine how much easier it is with the touchscreen Quote Link to comment

ao318
There is an Oregon 450 for sale for $250 in the bay area Craigslist pages. Might want to look at that. Quote Link to comment
+FunkyCachers
+1 for the 450 I love mine and you will be familiar with it so very little learning curve I would spend the extra bucks and get a new one $290 at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Oregon-450-Handheld-Navigator/dp/B00313JX4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334281181&sr=8-1 Quote Link to comment

Garmin eTrex 30. Bugs are fixed. 2nd one for me and not a problem. Firmware 2.7 While nothing is perfect, this thing is now good, IMO. Still, buy from REI and you can return it no questions asked if it doesn't suit you. Edited April 13, 2012 by MotorBug Quote Link to comment
