Needs Mantainece Atribute

When marking a cache as "Needs Maintenance", a "Needs Maintenance" attribute comes on. But it does not go off with an "Owner Maintenance" log.

It DOES go off with an 'Owner Maintenance' log!

I presume you manually cleared the attribute on your cache 'Bridge to Nowhere'.

It was there because it has an outstanding Needs Maintenance log on it

If you post an "owner maintenance" log, then the NM attribute goes away. Of course, that's after you've actually done the needed maintenance.

Just deleting the NM attribute without posting an "owner maintenance" log is one way to deal with things, but it still leaves folks wondering, since they can still read the NM logs. Without an "owner maintenance" log, it leaves things up in the air.

And the last finder makes note of the cache condition, but fails to post another Needs Maintenance log:

Found it 04/09/2012

Nice day for a fun cache! Log is damp and moldy.

Sounds like some owner maintenance needs to be performed.
