+hydnsek
The 2012 Washington State geocoin reflects both sides of our great state and also celebrates WSGA's 10th anniversary. This oval coin is a beauty, designed by WSGA member NepoKama (who won a design contest) with assistance from FluteFace. One side depicts the ferries endemic to watery Western Washington, while the Eastern Washington side features the historic Looff Carousel in Spokane. Here are photos, which don't do justice to the transparencies and fine details (like the waves in the water): Since coin demand has dipped, we only minted 270 regular-edition coins in black nickel - so get yours before they're all gone. Price is $12 each ($10 if you're a WSGA member). >> Order Yours Today! << We also have a few left of our 2011 Washington suncatcher coin (same order page). And if you still don't have our APE geocoin and cachekinz, feel free to order some of those, as well. Edited April 4, 2012 by hydnsek Quote Link to comment
+fox-and-the-hound
Nice! How about some details like size, thickness, icon, etc.? BTW, is that the sound (or part of it) to the left of the ferry? Edited April 4, 2012 by fox-and-the-hound Quote Link to comment
+NepoKama
Nice! How about some details like size, thickness, icon, etc.? BTW, is that the sound (or part of it) to the left of the ferry? The coins are 2 inches across, 3 mm thick, and will have a custom icon (the icon has been sent to Groundspeak, but not uploaded yet). Yep -- that is the sound. The WSGA logo is beneath the translucent enamels behind both the ferry and carousel horse. Here's some bigger photos of the coin. Quote Link to comment

+Kealia
As always, a job well-done. I can't tell you how many times I've enjoyed caching with you Western-side folks or ridden the carousel at RiverFront Park. Quote Link to comment
