G-Duda
Hi, I found some sculptures of ice cones in front of ice parlors, but no category to post them. Can I create a new category or where else I can create a new waymark? Best regards G-Duda Edited March 31, 2012 by G-Duda Quote Link to comment
BruceS
Depending on how big these ice cream cones are they might fit in Ginormous Everyday Objects or in the possibly the Realistic Object Sculptures category. Edit: After thinking about this more a better category might be 3 Dimensional Art Edited April 1, 2012 by BruceS Quote Link to comment
Max and 99
We have those where I live too. Mine won't fit in 3D Art since the name of the business isn't incorporated into the art (going by memory on the category requirement, so I hope that's right). Quote Link to comment
dtrebilc
3 Dimensional Art will accept ice cones - see http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/WMDTCF_Ice_Cream_Cone_Berkeley_CA The art itself doesn't have to incorporate the name of the business, but if it doesn't you also need a picture of the business premises with its name in it. I'm guessing it won't go into Ginormous Everyday Objects because this has a minimum size restriction of 20 feet. If the ice cone is mounted high on the business rather than on the ground then it will probably also go into Elevated Everyday Objects. Good Luck Quote Link to comment
silverquill
If the ice cream store is open, then there is also the Ice Cream Parlors category. Quote Link to comment
