Is it considered a seed cache if In say a coffee tin I put say 3 pill bottle all painted with some paracord have it as a trade. Not telling them to but having it there for like a new person or a person wanting to hide one.
No. But neither coffee tins nor pill bottles are good geocache containers.

im going to put them in a place thats dry.

You'd be amazed how much moisture can find its way into a cache container, even if it's in a spot you think is dry. Temperature and pressure changes can allow air to move in and out of the container, and moisture can condense out of the air inside the container.

I don't know what conditions are like in your area, but if you've seen other containers hidden in the same way that are fine, then go right ahead.

As others have said, your choice in containers is bad, sorry, and not well thought about. Your "seasons" or weather notwithstanding, they are going to get wet inside and turn out as soooooooo many others. Just plain junk.

It takes but one soaking to ruin the log and whatever else may be inside. Have you found any with moldy logs yet? It's a thrill.

Sounds tough, but it was meant to be.

Just look through the forums and see how many threads there are about bad cache containers.

As far as supplying containers for other cachers, well.... why not try this approach? --

If you have an overload of pill bottles and you wish to use them, put a plastic shopping bag into each one (they most always fit) and leave them in the cache so others would have a bag for CITO and carrying out some trash wherever they go?

It's a pretty good use of containers that otherwise are bad for anything but pills.
