+The Hizornes
We got a Happy Holidays 2011 geocoin as a FTF gift from a cache a while ago. The problem is, this coin has no number imprinted on it, nor did it come with an activation code. How do we retrieve these ??? Quote Link to comment
Flying Spaghetti Monster
If it was left as a FTF gift and there is no tracking number on it - it's a gift. If you find one in a cache that is NOT listed as a FTF gift and has no tracking number on it, consider it SWAG and trade evenly for it. Quote Link to comment
Maine Family
Check for the number on the edge of the coin. Quote Link to comment
+OZ2CPU
and some coins got their number almost invisible, or on the edge as others also suggest, very small and engraved or printet so it can only be seen with VERY good eyes, I really hate those kinds of track numbers, since I often get the numbers wrong.. +Gitchee-Gummee
There are lots of non-trackable geocoins. There are also lots of commemoration coins that are not trackable. They are the same thing -- it just depends on what one wishes to 'call' it. Not a new concept. Quote Link to comment
+Shop99er
This will sound blasphemous to all the Icon (*$'s) Chasers, but there was a time (back in the old days) when nearly no coins were trackable. You may have found one of them. Quote Link to comment
