Aerial photos?

Apologies for this as I suspect I am just being thick/a technophobe. I like to look at the aerial photos of cache areas to check out tree cover etc before I go. As the maps have changed, I can no longer work out how to view them. I'm feeling a proper dunce at the moment and I think my frustration is actually making it harder to solve so I would appreciate a little shove in the right direction... Is there a video/thread that already explains this that I can't find either *scratches head*

Just copy the co-ords to the clipboard then open up google maps and paste them into the search box. click search and there you go.......

Scroll down the cache page to the map on the right JUST above the start of the finds....not the map NEARER the top of the page, click on "view dynamic map", then click "hybrid".....sorted!!

I've just tried to find our local geocaches after a few months break and was very very disappointed with the quality of the maps. The new maps don't even show the minor roads out here in the countryside, so several 'drive by' caches look like they are in fields! Also, the aerial views don't work at all. Is this something that will be fixed or can we use some sort of add on to get round Google's restrictions?

I'm hoping that the last map downgrade, with all the little annoyances is actually an 01APR2012 joke. Probably not though.
