Notifications of New Caches by phone?

I noticed in someones FTF post that they were notified of a new cache placement via their phone. Does anyone know how to do that? I'm new to geocaching and having a great time! Thanks in advance.

Yup. Premium members can get notifications emailed to them. Simply get email on your phone. GMail, yahoo. That kind of thing. Thing is you will have to have internet on your phone to look up the co-ords. You can set it up by going HERE and changing your email clicking HERE

There is no need to 'get email' for your phone, either, as long as you can get text messages you are good-to-go.

Google 'email as text' for instructions.

Usually your 'text email' address is something like (your phone number)@(provider's server).com as in xxx-xxx-xxxx@tmomail.com if you have T-Mobile.
