+Squid1961 Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 I am wondering if anyone has an easy way to put on a competition. I have about 8 people and two GPS's. A team theme would be great. Could be set over a couple sessions and keep some kind of score maybe. Bragging rights for winners. Held in the city with lots of big parks,lakes and the ocean. Please help Quote Link to comment

Are you, the organizer, prepared for the arguments and disagreements that are going to happen? Are there good, solid 'rules' and officiating in place BEFORE the disputes start? Typically, you would not want your official to be a competitor -- that is an easy pitfall to get into. Usually it seems like it would be fun at the onset, but to date most all competitive caching games have failed, miserably. Some have even turned friends into not-so-good-friends.
