+GeoTrekker26
An 18 piece (9 containers and 9 lids) Lock and Lock set is available today at woot.com for $18 including shipping. Remember the way woot works is that this offer expires today, March 14, at 11 PM CDT. I've never ordered from woot so as with everything purchase from an internet vendor, caveat emptor. +DragonsWest
Dang! My last order is sitting at the Post Office and this comes along so soon? Gotta get hiding caches... yup, yup, yup. Quote Link to comment
+Dancing_Duo
Since we are in the planning process of planting a few cache I'll have to let hubby know about this. Missed the last LnL set they had. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Totem Clan
Dang! My last order is sitting at the Post Office and this comes along so soon? Gotta get hiding caches... yup, yup, yup. I just made a deal for a half dozen .50 cal ammo cans at $7 each. Now I need to make some hides so I can justify buying more containers. Hmmmm.... I wonder where the nearest light post is. Edited March 14, 2012 by Totem Clan Quote Link to comment
+DragonsWest
Those 50 cal ammo cans never go out of fashion, but are best for those remote mountain tops and places of extremes. For caches near home or close to the trail head (within 5 miles) a Lock & Lock is suitable. These are also lovely for hiding inside concrete blocks, sculpted for the occasion -- a cache of mine keeps going missing, so "Make it heavy" seems to be in order and a small lock & lock to hide under the block would be spifty keano. +Redfist
WOOT! Last time, I read the notice a few days too late. I ordered Red. Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
I just got my order from last week's offer, although these seem to run to a slightly large size. Quote Link to comment
+W4G_SOTAGoat
Thanks for the heads up. I ordered them to actually store FOOD in. What a concept, eh? Most of these looked a little large to use as cache containers. I've found that the lock-n-lock clones at the dollar store stand up pretty well as caches. Quote Link to comment

Convinced wifey we needed to replace the ones that are wearing out. And that I just MIGHT use one or two for a cache........ Quote Link to comment
+secretagentbill
Most of these looked a little large to use as cache containers. Wait, I'm confused. Is that possible? Haha, anyway, I got three cases of LnLs a few times ago that woot had them. Gave one box to my mom. So I still have two boxes of 'em. That's a lot of caches. (Or maybe I'll use some for food too Quote Link to comment
+hydnsek
Thanks for the heads up - got mine with purple lids. Woot! Purple? Where you going to hide Purple? Dark purple looked less dramatic in the photo than the red, green, or blue. And I still have a ton of L&Ls in my garage from the manufacturer's sale last fall. So I should be set for a few years.
