+Gamaliel
No, not pizza, I mean geocaches. Florida style is sticking it in a palm tree. So what's the NY equivalent? Someone referenced it on a cache page down here and I have no idea. Already did a forum search and didn't find the answer. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+Dras92
My guess is that it the style would be a nano-magnetic cache attached to a metal box, or magnetic key boxes in discreet locations, including, electrical boxes, metal stairs, etc. Probably no ammo boxes in the subways Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Well, having found 474 caches in New York, in 12 counties, I'd have to say small Lock and Locks, generally under branches or rocks on the ground. Sometimes on the tops of mountains. I've never heard 'New York style', so I'll guess that the CO in question is making a presumption that has no basis in reality. Quote Link to comment

+buttaskotch
NY Style? LOL Well, Thats a first. What region could they be speaking of? "NYC style" "Long Island" style? Captial region? or the various other regions of my great state. Thinking about it, it could mean either a magnetic nano or bison tube. or Film canister hiding among fauna or other rat infested areas. +Packanack
In NJ we have heard caches hidden as depicted as being NY Style, some hiders drop them in with mono filament and tie off the monofilament. Or magnetic key cases inside the housing. Quote Link to comment
