+dakboy Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 According to Microsoft's .NET DateTime library (and Groundspeak writes everything we see using this environment), 2012-02-29 + 1 year = 2013-02-28. MS SQL Server (which is the database Groundspeak runs everything on) agrees, using its own date function to add 1 year to Leap Day. Quote Link to comment

Therefore, 12/21/12 happened a few months ago, according to their calendar. And the person who wrote that has no understanding of the Mayan calender. Its on based on days, not solar cycles.
