BlueMoonPie
What can we use to plan a route that will enable us to see a satellite view of the route so that I can see the general area a cache is actually in For ex., if I decide to cache in a river bottom, I want to be able to see that a cache that appears to be along the route is in reality across the river, or over that there hill. I used to be able to do this with Google satellite images, I could even see which side of the street the cache was on but can't get there anymore. Are there any good sites for best ways to plan geocaching routes? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
With some great amount of patience and a bit of fiddling, I have found that I can use the new maps for that purpose as well. Takes longer, but it works. Quote Link to comment
