+E.B.E 51
Here is a quote I made up and like to use when talking about night caching. There are two types of people that run around in the woods at night, psychopaths and geocachers. Sometimes they're the same person. Quote Link to comment

+Sol seaker
"A nano in a pine tree. Who would do such a thing?" - Me...usually spoken to my caching buddy who has hidden at least 1 hide like that. My similar quote was, "Ammo cans are never hidden in trees." this was while I was out geocaching with someone new to caching. Of course we found the ammo can up in the tree. My favorite recent one was while out hiking. We had to head off the main trail to find a cache. We went for about 500 feet in snow up to our knees. We were wet and tired and I kept trying to come up with the bright side of it. Me: "At least we won't get lost," looking back at the trail we were leaving in the snow. Friend: "How could we possibly get lost? We've got 3 GPS's between the two of us!!" Quote Link to comment

+The_Incredibles_
I have one hidden in a tree I found an enormous ammo can hidden in a tree once. Actually, not really hidden, it was in plain view. Stuck in the tree presumably becuase they have snow on the 9 months of the year there. Not too many people in that area so they don't even had to hide or cover their caches. Quote Link to comment

+DragonsWest
Yesterday I was on a trail with a lot of micros, creative hides, but micros. One of my most common utterances, while seeking some of these is, "There's enough cover to hide an ammo can here." I've certainly said it lot while out hiking. Sometimes, "There's enough cover to hide a car in here!" Nothing worse than trying to find something puny where there's an overabundance of cover, is there? Quote Link to comment
