+SirenSong88
Hello. I am frustrated and need help. I have a Magellan GC. I have been using Vantage Point to upload pocket queries. The problem I have is that it never updates the logs for the cahces. A cache I loaded back in August 2011 still has those loags listed in my GPS. I uploaded a fresh PC for my area yesterday and went caching. I wasted an hour searching for a cache that was no longer available. When I went home and looked on Geocaching.com, I discovered that the cache had been missing for 3 months. If I just ran a PC that morning, why are the caches not updating in my GPS when synchronized with Vantage Point? Also how do I delte all of the old caches out of Vantage Point? +KI4HLW
Caches are updating, but if the Cache is archived it will not be in the new PQ so there is no info for Vantage Point to update. Your best bet is to simply delete all the caches of Vantage Point and your GPS before loading fresh ones. Quote Link to comment

I personally rarely look at the logs in the GPS, but that's just me, some people may like to. Quote Link to comment
