summerwinter
I am learning that zero is not zero but why did my unitl say the cache was in the parking lot on day one, in the middle of the swamp on day two and finally right about 2 hours later on day two? Know why may help my find percentage. I am in Foley AL if there is someone nearby who would like to help me in person. Quote Link to comment

Are there any overhead obstructions like trees or tall building in the area? Are there any powerlines around? Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
You are not alone. It happened to us today, with two units! At one spot we thought the nearby electrical box (large) and close proximity to a high-ish building may have contributed. But, at another spot the cache was supposedly 6 - 10 metres away according to a Magellan GC and Garmin 60CSx. This was out in the open, but under heavy dark clouds that sprinkled a bit of snow on us.... Quote Link to comment
+TomToad
I have had problems around a lot of trees when there are no satellite signals overhead. If you think about it, when all the satellites are on the horizon, not only does the signal have further to travel, but also must travel through more buildings, trees, power lines, etc...
