ETinaSkeeter Posted August 18, 2002 Posted August 18, 2002 Seems that most of the caches I've come across are stuck on land, when we've probably got lots of fishermen like myself that spend alot of time on the water. The caches could be ponds, lakes, and the ocean! Has anyone brought this up as a category before? Any issues folks know about...water is public space....thx.
Dalamar Posted August 19, 2002 Posted August 19, 2002 Skeeter you might want to look in the threads for the people in california they have done a few underwater threads and from what I have read seem fun
+Jeo Posted August 19, 2002 Posted August 19, 2002 I've found a few boat only accessible and have hidden a few that are both. Sounds like you might have an idea or two for some hiding spots?. Place some and see what happens.
+cactus8 Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 I have a virtual cache on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam. Great stripe bass fishing near the cache and up river if your lucky trout!

+sbukosky Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 There are four water related caches in my area. Three on an island and one is anchored eight feet under water so you have to swim down to it, unhook it, bring it up to open and log and then go down and rehook it again!! I only logged one courtesy of a friend and his boat. Steve Bukosky N9BGH Waukesha Wisconsin
