I can only discover, retrieve, grab, or write a note. If you could log a drop through the Trackables section, there's no way for the app to know which cache you want to drop it in. The only way to drop a trackable is through a log on a cache, which has the photo option. Quote Link to comment

I don't think there's a way to do it in the app. You'd have to do it through the website. Edit: I see you found how to do it on the website.
