How do I...

If you remember any of the names on the log, you can look back through their finds and try to track it down.

A few years ago, I was completing a multi near a ruined castle in Germany. Found the final, signed and logged, and then started poking around the ruins. I saw a suspicious pile of rocks by a tree, and it turned out to be the final for another multi that had been archived -- someone took the cache container. Well, apparently they put it back two years later. I looked through the logbook, noted down some of the finders and the dates they logged it, and tracked it down. The owner ended up being able to unarchive it, though he had to move it due to the proximity of the newer cache. (Ironically, the newer cache is now archived, and the older cache is still going strong.)
