+Red90
You can see lat/lon on the satellite screen (press the strength bars on the bottom of the screen). I think you can also add it as a field on the map or compass pages. Now, how does seeing the lat/lon help with finding a cache? Quote Link to comment
+Cacheoholic
The best feature for cache placement is to use the waypoint averaging. Quote Link to comment

+vonjoekasey
A few Questions about the 550: 1. Can it capture screen shots like the Magellan explorist 610? 2.Can you save your Photos to the SD card instead of the Unit and still use them to go back to the location? 3. Can you lock the screen that you are on so you don't accidentally touch it an move to another. 4. Will it sort your cache files (meaning if I did a PQ & downloaded it to the unit and it includes all types ie: virtuals, puzzles multi, traditional, etc.. but today I just want to see the puzzles in the area) can I specify it to just show me those even though the PQ has every type? I have the Magellan Explorist 610 and I like it but I miss being able to share wireless with others like the Garmin does. Quote Link to comment

+sduck
For the OP - Lat and Lon coordinates are usually dealt with using waypoints in the gps world - these are just stored sets of coordinates, usually with some kind of a name, that you can save and/or navigate to and from using various screens on the unit. This way you can navigate to a cache location by using the map page or the compass page instead of just trying to get as close to the posted numbers as possible. Quote Link to comment
