+Seganku Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 I think I may have just solved a puzzle cache but I am having trouble adding the solved coordinates to my gpsmap62. When I go to add a waypoint the 'location' field is in British Grid reference rather than the usual waypoint set up. How do I change the 'location' field so that it shows as a waypoint reference? Answer: GPS coordinates can be displayed in different formats depending on the source or use. Garmin's default position format is h ddd mm.mmm. You can change the way GPSMAP 62/78 displays the coordinates of your location by changing the position format. To change the position format: Go to the Main Menu Choose Setup Choose Position Format Select the position format you would like to use The position format is now changed, and this format will now display all of the coordinates on the Garmin device.
