+vds
The new site update that added a 'recently viewed caches' list on our home pages is (to me) very visually jarring and seems to have little value. I'd like the ability to turn that feature off and save it in my profile please. Quote Link to comment
+palmetto
I too would to have the option to collapse the list from 5 to none. Perhaps leave the header, but have the options be: none 5 All Thank you Quote Link to comment
+Lil Devil
And while you're at it, please give me the ability to turn off the "Your Logs (Last 30 Days)" section, or at least reduce it to 1-2 days with a "view all within 30 days" link. Quote Link to comment
+Leader1
I agree the "recently viewed caches" may be of some use. However it would be better if it was like viewing "your caches" as a menu choice that you could activate when you wanted. Quote Link to comment
+kantear
+1 vote from me for this one too. Quote Link to comment

team tisri
Add another vote. There's already a link for "recently viewed caches" so it really doesn't need to be in my face on my quick view as well. Quote Link to comment
+The HERB5
Sorry for the cross-thread quote but just about sums it up... There must be something seriously wrong with a website where the adverts are less annoying than the site's own features! Quote Link to comment

I like the feature, and will probably make use of it, but I would prefer it to be a tab option that I can view when I want to. Quote Link to comment
+sjclimber
So, there is no way to turn this off (don't use ABP). Best we can hope for is for GS to provide a option to purge the pages or for GS to remove this annoying feature all together?? Edited January 19, 2012 by sjclimber Quote Link to comment

ColleIsarco
From my point of view this feature is not bad at all but it is not as flexible as I needs it. What about 'bookmarking' up 5 (or 10) caches. On the cachedescription add a button `remember this cache`. The last 5 caches where i have clicked this button will be shown on my profile page like the recently viewed ones now. So i can plan my tour in the morning, marking the ones I wanted to search and in the evening, when i'm back at home it will be easy for me to find the caches I wanted to logged as found. Moun10Bike
The option to toggle this section on or off for your account will be available in our next release. Quote Link to comment
ColleIsarco
Hello, The option to toggle this section on or off for your account will be available in our next release. How does this feature work? I couldn't find anywhere an option to toggle the section? Am I missing something? Regards Quote Link to comment

ColleIsarco
Hi, It's a setting under your preferences. You can get to this page from your Account Details. Ups, I looked at that page several times and didn't see the option. May be I need new glasses. THX ColleIsarco Quote Link to comment
+NYPaddleCacher
And while you're at it, please give me the ability to turn off the "Your Logs (Last 30 Days)" section, or at least reduce it to 1-2 days with a "view all within 30 days" link. If we're able to select how many days worth of recent logs we can see I'd like to be able to select a longer period. Over the past couple of years I've averaged about 5 finds a month so quite often the "Your Logs (Last 30 Days)" section will only show a few caches and several times none at all. If I could see that last 60, or even 90 days I'd get a page that wasn't mostly white space. Quote Link to comment
