+Big-Red-One
How do you retire a coin that has been lost? There is not an option to do anything on the "Log" tab and no other way to pull it out of the system. Quote Link to comment
+secretcode6
If you are the coin's owner you can mark the coin as missing by selecting the "mark trackable as missing" link on the cache page. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
If you are the owner of the coin, or the owner of the cache where it was last seen, you can mark it as "missing". 2.5. Mark Missing - Trackable on page but not there physically. http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=152 Quote Link to comment
+Ruud4d
And when you are the owner of the cache in which the coins is at that moment, you have the same option. When you're a visitor of the cache it isn't in, you can only ask the coin- and cache owner to mark the coin missing. Quote Link to comment
+Droo
Only the coin's owner and owner of the cache the coin is logged in can mark a coin as Missing. It removes it from the cache's inventory but is not technically "archived" as it can be brought back into play and dropped in another cache as soon as it is grabbed again. The owner can also use the tracking number to reproduce the coin as a "Proxy" for release. Edited December 30, 2011 by Droo Quote Link to comment
