I am a newbie. Can someone PLEASE explain to me Mystery Coins...what are they and how do you get them?

Welcome lindam2003 to the geocoin forums, so you’re interested in Mystery coins and how to get them. Well first mystery coins usual appear in your mail box sent from yourself. Now through a time machine and space travel I’ve sent myself some pretty nice coinage that’s my explanation because I’m older and can’t remember sending these coins to me or being in the location they came from .

 

Just playing with you here, if you visit the coin forums here, play our games (you might even win some nice coins time to time) and most importantly have your name in the address book (see link here) and are patient and supportive of the coin forums then you may be blessed with a Mystery Coin.

Thank you for thie info. I was also able to find a llink to a list of Mystery coins. Very odd I say the Crappy Cache one for sale on e-Bay yesterday. I love the Devil made me do it and Bell Witch. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to receive one. I requested to be added to the address book!

Welcome lindam..... you will find that the people on these forums are quite nice. Several times a month you will see cointests ..... and sometimes coinpetitions (I just made that one up) such as the espn fantasy football coiner league.
