vplamar
I have some friends who have recently started GeoCaching and I would like to follow their progress by looking at their profile. Problem is I can't seem to find a way to get to their profile even though I know their online name. Is there a way to get search for or display directly a users profile? Link to comment
+Markwell
Congratulations - you're being Markwelled to this thread. I think you'll find your answer there. Also, if they have any found caches, you can use a link that looks like this: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?ul=Markwell and if they've hidden caches... http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?u=Markwell Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
+snake1411
Maybe I'll get Markwelled by this but... Technically, this does not answer their question... They want to be able to get directly to a person's profile through the use of their user name. While it is true that you can navigate to a user's profile through a cache they have found or hid, there does not seem to be a direct search point to get to the user's profile...unless of course you know the person's "A" number to query the ASP page (http://www.geocaching.com/profile/default.asp?A=####). +Markwell
That's correct. But once you find them, you can bookmark them. My answer just really didn't take it to the final step. Thanks for correcting me. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
