Lefty Skywalker
When I placed my poetry cache, I wished to use HTML formatting in the clue. But the rot-13 encoding annihilated it. I figured out a workaround... rot-13 the HTML beforehand. So for a line break, put instead of . Share and enjoy! What Would Yoda Do? Link to comment
Lefty Skywalker
PS, if you want to have the formatting still work when it's decoded you need to have both regular and rot-13 tags, so that when one set is broke, the other set works. What Would Yoda Do? Link to comment
+fizzymagic
HTML in clues sucks. It has the potential to screw up a number of things. Read the problems we've faced with Plucker and illegal HTML in clues in my gpx2html thread. Link to comment

This is one of those utterly annoying "clues that tell you nothing". Hey, Lefty, let me quote from the cache submission page: "Please keep your hints short, so decoding it on the trail is easier. If you don't have a hint, leave it blank." THIS IS NOT A HINT. (It's also not particularly original.) You may think it's funny, but you're not doing anyone any favors by putting junk hints on your cache page. Link to comment
+fizzymagic
I went and looked at the clue also. He seems to only have used the tag in it, which is not all that dangerous. But the clue itself is entirely inappropriate. This is one of my pet peeves, too. Link to comment
