Depends on how you pay, Debit/Credit card, and the exchange rate, and the commission the card provider charges you.

 

Usually it's around £18 to £20.

The conversion is done by your credit card company, giving the rate of the day when payment is posted. If you Google "US Dollar + UK Pound Sterling Exchange Rate" you'll get a rough idea, or you can check the Bank of England Exchange Rate.

If you pay using Paypal, usually they do the currency conversion for you, plus their exchange rate is generally good and they don't charge a conversion fee. My bank, for example, charges £1.50 for US dollar transactions.

There may be a difference between 'Goods' and 'Services'

 

I believe that a subscription to Groundspeak is classed as a 'Service' rather than 'Goods'

Whilst you can get many hours of enjoyment from being a member, you don't get anything physical to hold and keep (apart from the 'found' cache containers, but you don't get to keep them!)
