TheCacheSeeker
Has anyone been hindered from finding a cache or know/had a cache muggled because of Occupier protesters? Quote Link to comment
+northernpenguin
There are 5 million cachers, of 6+ billion people on the planet. Does that make US the 1% Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
We believe that cooking macaroni and cheese requires at least one blue box. We believe that frozen pizza is healthy because it incorporates all the food groups. We believe that a trip to McDonalds constitutes fine dining. Only 1% of the world's population know how to prepare a gourmet meal. We are the 99%. OCCUPY THE KITCHEN! Quote Link to comment
+Coldgears
Has anyone been hindered from finding a cache or know/had a cache muggled because of Occupier protesters? Actually.. The cache is "Lady Victory" at the New Jersey capital. Honestly? Every single Occupy Protester I have ever met are among the nicest people I have ever met. You go into Center City and people don't want to talk, don't want to be bothered. You go up to an Occupy "protestor" and they make you feel like you've known them for 5+ years. I've had a few of them actually *HELP* me look. Couldn't find The Lady Victory cache, even with help. This is my third DNF though... Quote Link to comment

Unless you're homeless, then they will send you away, and point you to the homeless shelter. Happened in Buffalo, and reported on the news. There is actually a cache there, but I suppose the like 15 people camping out there are not a deterrent to finding the cache. Quote Link to comment

Keystone
Unless you have a specific geocaching experience to share, like in Coldgears' post, posting generally about the Occupy movement belongs in the Off Topic forum. Participants are warned to remain on topic here. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+tozainamboku
No problem with the Occupy protestors, but I did see the police positioning before a march. Quote Link to comment
+Mr. Wilson & a Mt. Goat
No problem with the Occupy protestors, but I did see the police positioning before a march. Those trucks would be perfect for a Power Trail! And to answer the question, no, I have not had any problems with occupy protesters.... mostly due to the fact that they've vacated their camp. +Chrysalides
I did not attempt a cache in Berkeley because it was in plain view of a few Occupy protesters that day, and the police who were keeping an eye on them. Wasn't an encampment, and everything was pretty mild. Quote Link to comment
+webscouter.
I know of at least one Occupy geocacher. Quote Link to comment
