Thinking about getting an eTrek 20 / 30 https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=383&pID=87774 To replace my Blackberry 9800 for geocaching. So I go and spend £200 roughly on a GPS unit, am I then going to have to spend a further £100 on a map? Quote Link to comment

And yes, I thought paying 100-125 for a set of maps was ridiculous and haven't regretted the decision not to. The garmins come with a basic set of world maps, but they really are basic - but just follow talky's instructions and you'll have a good set in no time. Quote Link to comment
