+gopman
Has anyone else noticed that the TBUG notification emails ("Subject: [TBUG] was placed in") are missing the filled-in information for the TBUG name and the cache name? A recent one had the following as its first sentence: "User CCCooperAgency has placed into the cache ." The email subject is also missing the TBUG name... Thanks. Rich Link to comment
+ron50eli
Not yet, but I really haven't noticed or looked. I'll check mine out later. Last notice I received looked ok. rocker51 Link to comment
+Markwell
Yea, it's a documented glitch. IIRC, it has something to do with the fact that the e-mail may get sent out before the server has time to gather all the information throughout the database (cacher name, cache placed in, etc.). Jeremy has basically said that the Travel Bugs always get second fiddle to the caches. Again, IIRC, his words were something along the line of "Since you get the link to the Travel Bug in the message anyway, I didn't see it as a huge glitch." Hope it gets fixed in the new and improved website we've been hearing so much about. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
