[FEATURE] Change wording on stats regarding "51 States" when including DC

I just completed all 50 States as well as the District of Columbia. When I go to my map it shows I completed 51 States. I think you need to find a better way to display this.

I'd say it is a city that no state wants to be responsible for.

It's technically not a city, either, in that it does not have full control over it's own existence and governance. It is a "federal district", partially governed by The U.S. Congress, as defined by the Constitution to serve as the permanent location of the Capitol of the United States.

 

But who wants to split hairs?

Why does this matter? There are tons of things like this, for example Guam is counted as a country when it is a U.S. Territory. Same goes for Gibraltar, it is park of the UK but is treated as a country. I think there are many other things that time/money is better spent on then re coding this.

From a database perspective, and postal perspective, DC is always treated as a state, and places like Guam treated as countries.

 

If this was any different, then programming for this would start becoming very very complex, and buggy. This isn't a defense of how gc handles this, its just how its done across any industry.

Seems like a lot of extra programming for something that was never really wrong in the first place.
