Sol seaker
Although it is not geocaching related, I do highly recommend our "Ride the Ducks" tour of Seattle. It is a lot of fun. It will give you an overview of some of the layout of the city. It passes by a lot of major geocaching sites, such as the Fremont Troll under the bridge. You have probably heard of these rides, but if not, it is a tour by land and water by an amphibious vehicle. YOu can pick up a ride on the ducks right across the street from the Space Needle. I highly recommend the "Totally Tubular" Series of caches in Seattle. They are well thought out and highly entertaining. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=7bda974a-1b2f-444e-b04e-1f0a118f6a6e This one in the series has 190 favorite points on it. Be sure to read the whole cache page before searching for it, please. Here's another in the series with 142 favorite points on it http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=743e3b4a-4716-4758-8144-3a8c76dfa964 The first: with 109 favorite points: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=9acbbc57-a4cf-4bfe-b684-7f43804462e5 and the new one, which I haven't done yet, (and just now this minute found out about) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC12WGA&Submit6=Go which is a multi-cache that sounds like a lot of fun. It is now at the top of my to-do list!! (if you guys want a ride to go get this one, it's possible we could get it together) Have fun!! Edited November 16, 2011 by Sol seaker Quote Link to comment
hydnsek
Welcome to the Pacific Northwet! On the caching side, check out WSGA's Seattle Cache Recommendations for some local favorites. On the touristy side, I like Underground Seattle. Quote Link to comment

Masterchef
We want to do many as possible cache types in Seattle. Which mystery-caches are easy to do for us Dutch cachers? Which multi-caches are good to do for us Dutch cachers? Kelientje & Masterchef Quote Link to comment

MissJenn
I notice that you are a chef. There is of course a lot of food and food-related products in and near Seattle's iconic Pike Market. If you are looking for good and/or rare spices, check these people out. I have no relationship with them other than having stopped in there a few times. Quote Link to comment
Gan Dalf
As yet undecided on our attendance or not but anyone interested (especially our frineds from Holland) might like to know that the Argosy Christmas Ships will be making an appearance at Olympic Sculpture Park on the Seattle Waterfront not far from Seattle Center the same night as the event. The ships are scheduled to be there from 9:15-9:45, so plenty of time to get there after the event is over at 8. I am in no way affiliated with the Christmas Ship program so I am not telling you this as a plug or anything, besides, if you watch from the beach, it is free. To learn more about the Christmas Ships and see their schedule follow this link. Quote Link to comment
The Jester
Great idea! The park is about 47 36.969 122 21.229 - about 1/2 mile away (straight down Broad St.). Quote Link to comment
