+farrtom
Not sure this is the correct forum but... I have recently moved and changed my location on my account details, but I still am getting email notifications for new caches in my old area and I am not getting any for our new area. Is there somewhere else I need to change my location? How can I fix this? Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
You need to change the notification. Delete the current one and recreate it. Make sure your your profile has your new address and your location has been updated. Be sure to log out and back into the site once the changes are made so they will take effect. http://www.geocaching.com/account/default.aspx Quote Link to comment
+AdventureRat
Notifications do not use the Home Location from your account, but instead use the coordinates specified as part of the notification. Simply edit each notification and change the coordinates. There is no need to delete and recreate your notifications, and you don't need to logoff the site and log back in. Quote Link to comment
+pppingme
Its been a BUG for years that notifications can't use home coordinates. Its been asked for over and over, and not even an acknowledgment from gs that they are looking at it. They'd rather user their time breaking logs and stuff like that, doesn't make any sense.
