+pklong
Just realised I've not cached for the whole of September despite: 1) A major numbers milestone approaching. 2) There being several (should be) easy caches within walking distance of home. 3) Some lovely weather. So am I cured of the addiction or will I relapse? Philip Quote Link to comment
Degucacher
Unfortunately most of us relapse after a period of sobriety. One cache won't hurt, go on just one Quote Link to comment
+ratcliffe
Its like being a drinker with a caching problem.... Quote Link to comment
+Legochugglers
Definately still addicted: 1) You have started a topic on the forum 2) You know you are near a milestone. 3) You have looked and seen that there are some nearby caches in your radius. 4) You know exactly when your last cache was found. Its in your blood and the weekend is almost here!!!!! Quote Link to comment
+germanybert
Question is have you hidden any unfound geocaches in your GPSr in hopes of finding them later? If so then I am afraid you are in serious danger of falling off the wagon. Seek help soon. Do you know any clergy in your area? Quote Link to comment
+drdick&vick
You must attend a weekly meeting of Cachers Anonymous and stand at the front as say "My names is Phillip and I am a cacher, I have not cached for ??days" and they will all aplaud you The problem will always be that you will not be able to handle anything that has GPS facilities Quote Link to comment

team tisri
Just realised I've not cached for the whole of September despite: 1) A major numbers milestone approaching. 2) There being several (should be) easy caches within walking distance of home. 3) Some lovely weather. So am I cured of the addiction or will I relapse? Philip Not cured. In 2008 I found a grand total of 25 caches for the whole year (19 of those were on holiday). Then in 2009 I found more than in the previous five years put together, although my numbers are nowhere near a few other people I probably don't need to name *cough*solly*cough* Quote Link to comment

+ratcliffe
Soo.... to cap things, if he's no longer anonymous, and he's quoting caching stats, and talking about going caching, then its too late and he's already off the wagon, GPS in hand, and ferretting under a rock... Quote Link to comment
+stevo185
I thought I was cured Phil, but then a caching team who shall remain nameless came along and invited me to go caching with them. This then expanded to - 'wouldn't you like to go and find 100 caches in a day?' Something I had resisted for several years. Today just to keep me off the streets they forced me to go to Yorkshire and find another 73 caches. Where can I go tomorrow?? Going for a hot bath now! Quote Link to comment
